The Hawaiian race is, in fact, race. Hawaiians have physical features that are unique to them only since they are hundreds of years distanced from the Polynesian race. Hawaiian is an ethnicity that is terribly misunderstood by people not unlike yourself. Do your research before you make such callous comments.

Captian Cook was not a “mainland” traveler, he was british. Also, there is not really a Hawaiian race since race means a human population considered distinct based on physical characteristics. Maybe you could argue that there is a Polynesian race. It is definitely a distinct culture though.

Yea NJ kinda sucks weather-wise…but hopefully you’ll get to experience a NJ blizzard one day…cuz they’re fun! However, should you ever decide to move back to Hawaii save me a seat on the plane!

Ok can you really knock the weather…it was like 60 on Christmas day lol but then I guess that is not exactly surfing whether huh!? And yea I will go ahead and agree that our version of the 12 days of Christmas is kinda lame…but what are ya gonna do we can’t all come from cool, fabulous islands lol

Well I am glad your first Christmas here was good! And FYI we all dream of a white Christmas…but after a few years of disappointment you get over it lol….And I have to say that although it is great having your family together…well it can sometimes be…embarrasing when the topic of the evening turns to focus on your…mistakes….but that’s just me and my craziness lol

I am sorry you are feeling so homesick. I can’t imagine not being able to get in my car and drive home whenever I wanted to and if I could I would take you back to Hawaii in a heartbeat…I’d make the sacrifice of leaving a NJ winter to suffer through laying around on beaches lol….but seriously…the leaves are changing pretty colors…the weather gets cold so you can wear fun sweaters, hats and boot…and we both know how much fun snow can be lol….While all this is no substitute for being home with your dog it’s gotta make you feel a little happy right!?!? Besides you got that “roommate” of yours to snuggle with on those chilly nights hahahahaha
