College graduates will get the rude awakening that they are lacking in funds soon after receiving their diploma. Hardly any college student thinks about the immediate aftermath of leaving the world of academia.
The sad truth is that you will be thrown into a harsh unforgiving world and most likely find yourself looking to your parents for answers. This can be a reality check.
But you can avoid this problem by taking action now.
Student Loans
If you’re in your senior year or last semester of college you have already applied and hopefully received student loans. I was lucky and didn’t have to get any loans to my name. Thanks mom and dad.

Loans
For some crazy reason, many college students think that loans are only for when you are in college. They help pay tuition, room and board, books and even groceries.
But the realistic thing is that you’re most likely going to need a loan to get you started when you have to leave the comfort of pre-paid rent.

Your last semester
So here you are in your last semester of college. It’s your turn to enjoy your well-deserved freedom after three and a half years of suffering through term papers, finals and presentations. If you were smart with scheduling, your last few months in college consist of one or two required classes and maybe an elective. Admitting Denial
Facing the new world of the Internet.
Very weird, very new. Never thought it’d happen to me. It’s inevitable, right? This blog was created for a class assignment but I guess I am actually quite pleased we were assigned it. I don’t believe that I would have created a blog so soon without being assigned it. I did voluntarily sign up for online journalism, right? What did I think was going to happen in the class? I guess I didn’t know and that may be half the reason why I signed up. The other half being that I am entering a very new but very real world of technology in a few months and I think I need to prepare myself as best I can.
